- Notifying life insurance companies and filling out claim forms
- Notifying credit card companies, utility companies etc. of discontinued service
- Arranging for sale of real estate
- Closing real estate sales of properties owned by estate
- Addressing and resolving title issues affecting estate properties
- Locating beneficiaries
- Coordinating with accounts to file income tax returns and pay all taxes
- Obtaining a Clearance Certificate from the Canada Revenue Agency
- Preparation of statements of accounts for the estate
- Passing of Accounts in Court
- Communicating with beneficiaries and obtaining necessary releases and consents.
